Vice President, Capital Markets

Matthew M. Meek serves as Vice President and Director of Financial Analysis for Swig Equities, LLC. Since joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Meek has been responsible for all financial analysis related to over $3.1 billion of debt and equity financing transactions secured by 4.6 million square feet of CBD commercial office buildings and residential development projects. Mr. Meek supports Kent M. Swig, President, and Paul Sygrove, Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, in analyzing all commercial and residential acquisition opportunities and the arranging of debt and equity financing for the firm’s transactions. He also provides ongoing analysis in support of leasing and day-to-day asset management of the firm’s portfolio.

Mr. Meek has over 15 years of commercial real estate experience focusing primarily on the arrangement and structuring of debt and equity financing for commercial and residential real estate assets. Prior to joining Swig Equities, Mr. Meek was with The Carlton Group, a prominent real estate investment banking firm, where he assisted with over $1.5 billion of debt and equity financing transactions including the Bank of America Center in San Francisco, CA; the Starrett-Lehigh Building; 1250 Broadway; Douglaston Plaza Shopping Center; and 80 Broad Street in New York City.

Previously, Mr. Meek served as Business Analyst to senior management at Grubb & Ellis and an Investment Banking Analyst at UBS Warburg LLC. He holds a Bachelor of the Arts in History with a minor in Economics from Birmingham-Southern College.

Mr. Meek resides in New York’s Hudson River Valley with his wife and three children.
